The Joseph Banks Aged Care Facility offers three types of rooms which are detailed below. All of our rooms are designed to offer comfort and a homelike environment. Our residents are invited to add select personal pieces of furniture to their rooms to enhance their living environment.

The accommodation costs in aged care can be a combination of three charges (if applicable) based on your personal financial circumstances.
Daily Bed Fee – this is an amount determined by the Australian Government and is based on a percentage (approximately 84%) of the full Australia Aged Pension. This charge applies to every admission to an accredited and Government supported Australian aged care facility.
RAD – (residential accommodation deposit). Everyone who moves into an aged care home agrees a room price before moving in. Joseph Banks has 3 (three) types of rooms and the values are detailed below. ( Joseph Banks has a number of rooms identified for Fully Supported consumers – i.e. No RAD is applicable )
Means Tested Care Fee – In addition to the accommodation payment, you may be asked to pay a means tested care fee. This fee will be advised by Services Australia once they have received a request for an Income & Assets review form. This form should be lodged for an assessment with Centrelink/DVA as soon as possible, any Means Tested Fee will be based on the information provided on this form.

Our Facilities
The residents living in our facility have access to a range of different communal spaces totalling approximately 860m² inside and 57m² undercover areas outside. The facility has been designed as an open plan living environment within five distinct wings.
